Tips On Planning A Tour In East African

East African countries include Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. The pride of East Africa is a real lifetime experience which will require you to carry binoculars and camera of high quality to enable you take the best memorable photo shoots especially of the spectacular game viewing in the Serengeti and the Masai Mara game reserve. In these two parks, you will watch the biggest wildebeest migration ever in your life and also see the big five probably for your first time! You will be lucky to see the two giant mountains (Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Kenya) in Africa. Gorilla tracking in Uganda, flamingo watching in Lake Nakuru, bird watching in lake Manyara and wildlife viewing in Ngoro Ngoro crater is a must watch.

Game viewing in the early morning and late afternoon is highly recommended since animals are very active at this time. Due to the hot sun during the day, animals relax in the shade to avoid exhaustion. East African tours especially in the game reserves/parks will be accompanied by dust as you drive through rough roads and many pot holes. You will therefore need to cover your cameras, tighten your safety belts and bear with the situation as you explore what Mother Nature has offered Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. Remember to carry sun screen, insect repellent, sun glasses and enough sanitary requirements.

Before you plan your tour to East Africa, it is important to identify your personal interest. For instance, you can have your adventure in a small or a big group, as a couple or as a family. You can decide to go camping where you will enjoy game viewing, go mountain climbing or bird watching. You can also choose your own itineraries or let the tour operators do it on your behalf. Always pick a reputable and trusted tour operator so that you can enjoy your safari.

Depending on the availability of money, decide on a budget and timeframe that will suit your vacation needs. East Africa has various amazing animals, many natural wonders and there is no tour budget that will disappoint you! You should have a visa/passport on arrival to the airport and, always respect and check all visa rules with your travel agency. Limit your baggage weight as much as possible to cut on payment cost. Photographing of the locals is not allowed unless permitted by your tour guide. Visitors are required to take precautions against Malaria since some places in East Africa are prone to Malaria. There are qualified doctors in all hotels and lodges ready in case of an emergency.
