Binocular Inspection

binocular inspection
Strange bird – white heron?

I was walking in Felbrigg national trust park (UK), and I spotted a bird which seemed to fly like a heron, but upon closer inspection through the binoculars when it landed, it seemed smaller and squatted closer to the ground than a normal heron would…I think it had a black beak and quite a small head…any ideas?
I think it was a little egret…just looked at the RSPB website.

Little Egret, Snowy Egret, Little White Heron, Great Egret, or perhaps Cattle Egret.
