I have an old binoculars which I intend to sell off. How do I arrive at a reasonable selling price?

I would log onto eBay and check “completed listings” to see what binoculars like yours have sold for. That will give you an idea of what people are willing to pay.

To check completed listings, you must be an eBay member and you’ll have to go into “advanced search.”

Alternatively, look at new versions of you binoculars and then take off about 7% for each year you’ve owned them. It’s not a perfect system though, as some items lose more value than 7% a year and others hold their value well.
